The IDB-331 MRZ / NFC / eID has been developed, among other things, to be built into a kiosk or vending machine. But can also be mounted on a counter or at the cash register.
The IDB-331 communicates with a Host system via the USB port and is also supplied with power via the USB port. Additional power adapters are not required.
Thanks to the advanced half-page reading technology in combination with software, the IDB-331 reads national and international ID cards, passports and European driving licenses equipped with an NFC chip.
In addition, the IDB-331 is equipped with a contact card reader for ISO-7816 Cards such as the Belgian eID.
We have several SDKs (Software Development Kits) available for the IDB-331 for Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android.
In addition, we have interfacing software with standard XML/JSON output options, with which you can quickly integrate the age scanner into your own developed application or application.
The IDB-331 can read and process the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) and NFC, which comply with the international ICAO-9303 standard for travel documents.
In addition, the IDB-331 can also read the so-called Near ICAO MRZ from ID Proofs, including the French NIC and Belgian e-ID.
