The IDB-211 MRZ has been developed, among other things, to be mounted on or on a cash register, POS, Tablet or vending machine. A special “bracket” with various mounting options is also included.
The IDB-211 communicates with a Host system via the USB port and is also supplied with power via the USB port. Additional power adapters are not required.
The IDB-211 is not suitable for reading the MRZ of modern Dutch driving licenses (Model 2014 and 2018), because this scanner does not have the NFC functionality.
We have various SDKs (Software Development Kits) available for the IDB-211 for Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android.
In addition, we have interfacing software with standard XML/JSON output options, with which you can quickly integrate the age scanner into your own developed application or application.
The IDB-211 can read and process the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone), which conforms to the international ICAO-9303 standard for travel documents.
In addition, the IDB-211 can also read the so-called Near ICAO MRZ from Identity Documents, including the French NIC and Belgian e-ID.
