The IDA-540 is equipped with extra options, so that this age scanner can also be connected to POS systems, including StoreMate from Toshiba-TEC.
Among other things, you will receive a message on the cash register to check the age on the basis of an ID document with the IDA-540.
Thanks to the advanced half-page reading technique and the specific ScanID algorithms, the IDA-540 reads national and international ID cards, Passports and Dutch driving licenses (model 2014 and model 2018).
In addition, the age scanner checks for first-line forgeries of ID cards and Passports.
With the included interfacing software with standard XML/JSON output options, the IDA-540 can be quickly integrated into the POS software.

The IDA-540 can read and process the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) and NFC, which comply with the international ICAO-9303 standard for travel documents.
In addition, the IDA-540 can also read the so-called Near ICAO MRZ from ID Proofs, including the Cedula, French NIC and Belgian e-ID.
