The AVD-950 ID-Reader can be used in self-service mode or operated by an attendant; it allows to scan the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) of an ID document, read the RFID and authenticate the user thanks to a fingerprint scanner.
Typically, the AVD-950 can be used in all cases where a citizen manages his/her own authentication: either in self-authentication mode or with a representative of the authority.
In combination with the optional Docview Studio software, the AVD-950 ID-Reader becomes the heart of your document and access control.
The AVD-950 is used, among other things, for visitor / refugee registration and checking of Passports, Visas and ID cards. Optionally, the read data can be exported.
In addition to the fast processing of national and international ID Cards, Visas and Passports, the AVD-950 in combination with Docview Studio software checks the MRZ and RFID Chip.
For example, checksums (control numbers) and the overall checksum are checked and the content of the RFID Chip is checked via passive and active authentication.
