Also, the AVD-150 Keyboard can function as a stand-alone unit, as part of a data collection process, such as Know Your Customer, Know Your Employee, Age Verification and Airport/Hotel Check in.

The AVD-150 track length and single-slot design are optimized to ensure passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistent and accurate reading.
The length of the track allows documents to slide smoothly over the metal plate without rocking, so you can get a good read the first time.

The MRZ decoder has an advanced recognition engine that provides a very accurate and very fast ID document readout.
The AVD-150 can read machine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV) and international residence permits, as well as other national identity cards that comply with ICAO 9303 and ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3 lines) MRZ.
