The new IDA-200 – Swiss Stand-Alone age verification scanner is most commonly used for quick and adequate age verification in many industries and sectors.
Thanks to the advanced half-page reading technique and the specific ScanID algorithms, the IDA-200 reads national and international ID cards, Passports and the Swiss Drivers License.
The unit can be set with one or two age limits, by default 16 and 18 as required for the Swiss market.
Powered by USB, 5 Volt or Powerbank
The IDA-200 Swiss Stand-Alone doesn’t need a host system or software.
The intelligent unit will determine the age by comparison of the birthdate against the Real Time Clock (RTC)

Support for MRZ
The IDA-200 can read and process the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone), which comply with the international ICAO-9303 standard for travel documents.
The IDA-200 can also read many of the so-called Near ICAO MRZ from Identity documents.
